No, First Logistics does not offer cold storage, but we do provide ambient storage–the storage of goods at a controlled “room temperature,” typically ranging from 60°F to 80°F (15°C to 27°C). An ambient temperature is ideal for a wide variety of products that don’t require refrigeration or freezing.
An AIB International inspection is a comprehensive assessment of a food facility’s food safety practices, including operational methods, personnel practices, maintenance, cleaning, integrated pest management, and the adequacy of prerequisite and food safety programs. It ensures that our facilities follow best practices and adhere to regulations to prevent food safety hazards.
It means our facilities have been officially recognized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as places where food, drugs, medical devices, or cosmetics are stored. This registration ensures that our warehouses meet the FDA’s standards for storage, handling, and sanitation, and the FDA reserves the right to inspect these registered facilities.
